Bold, irreverent and surprisingly tender, Coexistence, My Ass! follows a group of artists and activists who challenge the polite language of living together by confronting the fractures beneath it. Moving through communities where cultural, political and personal identities collide, the film looks beyond surface‑level harmony to examine what coexistence actually demands – and why it so often fails.

Rather than offering easy answers, the documentary invites audiences into moments of candour, conflict and unexpected humour. Through intimate conversations and sharply observed encounters, it reveals the pressures placed on individuals to conform, compromise or keep the peace, even when their lived realities tell a different story.

Balancing laughter with difficult truths, Coexistence, My Ass! is both entertaining and thought-provoking – a portrait of an artist using comedy not to soften conflict, but to bring its contradictions into the open.

Contains: Strong language, references to war and violence.
