Sands 26 invites students of film and industry professionals into a series of urgent, thought-provoking conversations exploring how creativity is being reshaped in a digital world. From AI to social media, these curated talks examine the systems, tools and pressures influencing how ideas are formed, circulated and valued.

Opening conversation: Creativity in the Digital Age with James Price and Liz Colbert. Moderated by Gráinne Humphreys.

12.00pm – 1.00pm
Cinema Beyond the System: This conversation explores new approaches to film distribution, artistic practice, and curation. As traditional systems evolve, we’ll discuss how filmmakers, programmers, and distributors are finding alternative ways to connect films with audiences and reshape film culture with Louise Johansen, Ash Cook and Inge de Leeuw. Moderated by Zac Ntim.
