Set within a Montreal apartment block, Two Women introduces neighbours Violette and Florence as each faces a moment of quiet transition. Violette is adjusting to the demands of early motherhood, while Florence steps back from a career that suddenly feels unfamiliar. Though outwardly settled, both find themselves drifting from the identities they’ve long inhabited.

An unplanned encounter breaks open their routines, prompting questions about fulfilment, desire and the freedoms they’ve set aside. What unfolds is a candid, often funny portrait of two women navigating friendship, intimacy and the shifting expectations of modern life.

Robichaud’s fresh reimagining of a Quebec classic brings warmth, wit and emotional clarity, inviting audiences to recognise the uncertainties – and possibilities – that come with changing who we think we are.
